The site is nestled along the banks of the Pellingbrook, a gentle meandering stream joining the river Ouse, pitches can have their own campfire pit with composting loos with beautiful views.

Nearby Attractions
  • Bluebell Railway - Ten minutes walk famous Thomas Tank steam train; restaurant and pub,regular trains.
  • National Trust Garden - garden and shop at Sheffield Park, again within easy walking distance 15 min. There is a tea room at the garden.
  • Ashdown Forest is nearby with Pooh Bridge.
  • Sloop Inn - 40 minute walk through the woods or via a quiet country lane, good food and local beer.
  • Trading Boundaries - This country shopping site has a selection of unusual shops with a good cafe on site.
  • Fletching - This village has a delicatessen, renowned butcher shop and one very good pub called The Griffin.

FROM NORTH BY ROAD
M25, junction 6, A22 and follow signs to the Bluebell railway.
Pass Bluebell on the right hand side
Wapsbourne is second entrance on right Signposted with Strawberries.

FROM SOUTH BY ROAD
A275 from Lewes/Brighton.
Cross A272 at Chailey
sign to Bluebell Railway / Sheffield Park
1.5 miles Wapsbourne Farm on Left signpost with Strawberries

ARRIVING BY TRAIN
Haywards Heath station is on the Brighton to London Victoria line. Take a bus to Uckfield and get out at the Kings Head, Chailey. Cost approx £3. A taxi costs £20
Alternatively check out coming on the last part by the Bluebell Railway. Take the train to East Grinstead then a taxi to Kingscote station.

Lots of small country lanes to cycle along. Take the train to either Haywards Heath or East Grinstead.
